Body Art Licensing

In 2022, Governor Kemp signed into Law Senate Bill 214 which directs the Georgia Department of Public Health to adopt statewide Body Art regulations including the permitting of body artists.

The Department of Public Health is responsible for regulating Body Artists and Body Art studios by administering permits, performing routine inspections, and investigating complaints. Access online services and information related to body art below.
