Augustus is a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) which allows a nurse who holds an active license to practice physically and/or electronically/telephonically in other NLC states without applying for and obtaining an additional license. Practice is defined as where the patient is located at the time nursing services are delivered. Go to www.ncsbn.org/nlc for a list of compact states. A nurse may only hold one multi-state license issued by his/her primary state of residence.
