The Preliminary Plan Check Service provides applicants with an opportunity to meet with a plan check engineer to answer questions

Subdivision Planning Application

All new subdivisions must comply with the requirements of the City’s Subdivision Ordinance, must be in conformance with County General Plan and meet the minimum lot size criteria set forth by the County Zoning Ordinance.

On March 27, 2019, the City Council approved the code amendments to create regulations for mixed income housing development bonuses and an ordinance granting the amendments.

Special Provision Sign Districts (SPSD)

The purpose of the Special Provision Sign District (SPSD) is to establish a geographic area where standard sign regulations are modified to be more restrictive, or in some cases more lenient, than what the normal provisions for signs in the Development Code allow

City Plan Commission (CPC) briefings and public hearings are held via video conference. Information about how to access the CPC meetings can be found HERE(link). All speakers at the CPC hearings must register to speak by 5:00 pm on the Tuesday before the hearing.
